We adopted a Norwegian Forest cat some years ago. This is a pretty breed, with lots of hair, a symmetrical face and expressive eyes. He had no name and we were concerned that after enrolling him in school he would be teased, both as the new guy but also his soft, even effeminate looks. So we named him, "Spike". A strong, tough name to keep the bullys away! Our sweet boy was with us 15 years. Never a gentler soul ever lived.
